Lady Engineer High School is a private unaided, minority, cosmopolitan, co-educational school which has been serving the cause of secular education for the last 79 years. We have classes from Nursery to Std.X and a well-qualified teaching staff. We have 670 students on our roll.
The education imparted in the school is of a high standard. Our S.S.C results are constantly good and great emphasis is put on building up of character and extra curricular activities like English, Hindi, Marathi Handwriting competition, Essay, Art & Craft, Rangoli, Salad Dressing, Elocution, Debate, Singing, Dramatics, Fancy Dress competitions, International Olympiad, Table Tennis, Carrom, Scrabble, Chess tournaments, Football, Volley ball, Badminton, Basket ball Cricket, Food Mela and various Quiz competitions. We have special classes for Karate, Zoroastrian studies, Dancing, Abacus and Personality Development and Adventure Activities.
We train our students for Gandhi Smarak Competitions, Prem Puri Ashram Trust Competitions, Red Cross Competitions and other interschool competitions. Our students also participate every year in the Ward Level Science Exhibition, Discovery Of India competitions conducted by the Nehru Centre and competitions pertaining to information Technology.
Our students are also taken for visits and excursions. Every year students of Stds. V, VI, VII, VIII , IX, X are taken for camps. Students are also taken for Annual Picnic. Our school has a full time Counsellor. We also send our students for International Exam, Government Scholarship Exam, Hindi and Marathi Rashtrabhasha exam, Govt. Drawing Grade exam. We also have an Interact Club under the Rotary Club of Mumbai Queen’s Necklace doing yeomen service for the society.
Finally, in order to encourage our students to do better and instill in them a spirit of healthy competition, we have our School Annual Prize Distribution Day and an Annual Sports Day as well, wherein students from various categories are felicitated with prizes and certificates.
